Our team repair breakdowns and liaise with staff to ensure cost effective service while ensuring minimal impact on patient treatment.
We have established a dedicated workshop repair service for hand pieces and sterilising to ensure high quality repairs and reduce turnaround time to minimise the need for spare or back up pieces.
Where required we provide loan equipment such as suction motors and sterilisers to ensure a high surgery uptime.
With our experienced team of technicians, well stocked vehicles and specialised workshop service we believe QDS are well placed to provide you with a one-stop competitive service.
To ensure maximum value for money we offer three levels of service for On-Demand repairs. Not every fault needs to be treated as urgent, with many able to be handled next day or on the next scheduled service.
Our On Demand pricing is based on faults being classified and agreed as one of three categories of fault:
Emergency – immediate response required within 6 hours or less (allowing for travel)
Priority – within day or next day response required, where we have the ability to schedule work efficiently, optimise travel and utilise out of hours working as required
Routine – where a respond by date and time is agreed and travel costs can be shared.

A key goal of QDS is to fix breakdowns on first visit ensuring minimisation of surgery downtime and impact on patient treatment, avoiding the need for second visits, surgery downtime and travel costs. We have a proven track record of being able to fix over 93% of breakdowns on the first visit. We achieve this with:
Highly experienced technicians with a thorough knowledge of equipment
Fully equipped maintenance vehicles that provide sufficient genuine parts to rectify more than 93% of expected faults
Direct reporting and analysis of faults. Faults are reported directly to and analysed by our Senior Field Technicians, alleviating unnecessary callouts or ensuring required parts are taken to the job. Where possible we will determine the likely fault in the initial phone contact to determine if a special part is likely to be needed, to again avoid wasted site visits and unnecessary costs.
A thirty day warranty is offered on all repair workmanship.
As part of our approach, all breakdown calls are answered directly by our Senior Field Technicians. Our first priority is to try to clearly identify the problem over the phone, establish likely causes and any parts that may be required for efficient rectification. Where possible we try to identify a work-around for client staff to minimise the impact of patient treatment.
